Dr. Janelle McFarland
Dr. Janelle McFarland graduated in 2004 from the University of Illinois, where she spent seven years working on her undergraduate degree and attending veterinary school.
She grew up in the local area, spending half of her childhood in Yates City and the other half in Farmington. She currently resides in Elmwood with her three wonderful and very busy children, Ashlynn, age 9, Ty, age 7, and Brinnley, age 6. They have one furry family member named Grady the cat.
Dr. Janelle McFarland enjoys meeting new people and patients and seeing those she has had the pleasure of caring for over the years. She adores the small town atmosphere where clients and patients become like extended family.
In her spare time, she is also a Director with Thirty-One Gifts. She has a huge love for the outdoors, including fishing and hunting. She also enjoys running, biking, skiing, and lifting weights. When life affords her additional time, she loves to sew.
Makaela graduated in 2016 from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. After graduation she returned to the area to play a more interactive role in her family's grain and livestock farm. In addition to the livestock she cares for, she has a Labrador retriever, Ruger, 2 Labrador retriever mixes, Oakley and Remington, and a cat, Ralphie.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and her husband Bryson. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
Jenn has been in the veterinary business for a little over 20 years now. She started doing kennel work and needless to say she was hooked. She loves working with the animals and their humans. Some days are hard but for the most part it is a very fulfilling job for her.
She has a 2 1/2 year old Golden retriever Sydney aka ‘Little Miss’. She shares her home with two kitties, Jakey Jake and Miss Lillie. She also has two kitties that keep her busy when she goes outside.
In her spare time she likes to spend time with John, her fiancé. In the summers they like to hop on the Harley and see the country side. Her son Nyc is 25 and happily married.
Peggy is a 1985 graduate of Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over 32 years experience in the field for the care and welfare of animals. After living in England for almost 20 years, she decided to return home in 2005 with her new husband, 2 horses, 2 cats and a dog. She has two grown children and only four-legged grandchildren so far. She currently owns an adopted ex-racehorse, a 29-year-old pony (from England), 3 house cats, 3 barn cats, a labrador and a beagle, plus chickens and ducks. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her animals, gardening, golf, traveling and of course being back with her family.
